Our Team
Bonnie Hoewing, DNP, AG-ACNP, Dip-ACLM
I am Bonnie Hoewing, DNP, an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, also board-certified in lifestyle medicine. I am a “home grown” local; I graduated from Homedale High School and am excited to be able to return to the area to serve the community I call home.
With over 8 years of experience in hospital and critical care settings, I have witnessed the detrimental effects of chronic diseases firsthand. This has driven me to simultaneously pursue another approach—one that focuses on prevention and holistic health.
At Idaho Frontier Wellness, I use lifestyle medicine principles to empower patients to live their best lives. My personal journey overcoming weight and other health challenges fuels my passion for this work. I believe that with the right support and education, everyone can achieve optimal health and well-being through sustainable lifestyle changes.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 daughters, trail running/hiking with my black lab, and experimenting with new recipes. I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of my patients, guiding them towards lasting, positive changes.
